10 Years of Inspiring Projects

Over our 10 years, there have been many many inspiring and impressive projects that we have worked, so we thought we would take a moment to reflect on some of them.

What links these projects are strong teams of people, with great ideas, who make things happen and have a degree of flexibility as plans change. Some of the larger projects we’ve worked on include Norwich Castle: Royal Palace Reborn, who have delivered a wonderfully inclusive and accessible community engagement programme which has had a real impact on local people’s lives.

Or The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire’s Peatland Progress project, where the team is demonstrating passion and dedication, going above and beyond to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss and the anxieties of the next generation head-on.

Or the National Memorial Arboretum and Lockdown Landscapes: an ambitious project to capture experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic, engaging people with exploring their memories of a recent national trauma through creativity, oral history and enjoyment of the outdoors.

And then there has been the work of small organisations whose projects are rooted in and relevant to the communities in which they work (Figment Arts and the fantastic Story Maps project); volunteer groups who do so much with so little (Newhaven Museum) or an organisation who had an idea and 10 years later are celebrating putting the UK’s Paralympic Heritage on the map (the National Paralympic Heritage Trust).

Running a small consultancy isn’t always easy, but one of the rewards is being able to support brilliant projects and people, and getting to see the creative processes at the heart of them.
